Obituary of Mildred Ann Bryson

Mildred Ann Bryson of Cullowhee, died on March 3, 2016 at the age of 71. She was the daughter of late Eva Pauline Ashe Conner and the late Victor Connor. She was the wife of the late Johnny Edward Bryson of Dillsboro. Her children included Robert Jumper, Vicky Jumper, Patty Jumper, John Bryson, Steven Bryson, Eva Bryson, Justin Jumper, Chris Farmer, Kendra Fox, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by brothers Herbert Conner, L.C. Conner, Veldie Conner, Victor Conner and a sister Jean Davis. She is survived by her sisters, Shila Blankenship and Doris Fallon, and a brother, Henry Conner. Her focus and love in life were her children and she devoted all of her time and resources to helping her kids and others. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ; loved studying her Bible and her desire was for everyone to come to a saving knowledge and acceptance of the Lord. She was a member of Cullowhee Valley Baptist Church. There will be a simple gathering and celebration of her life 7:00 PM Tuesday March 8 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Service with the Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the Service at the Funeral Home for 6:00 till 7:00.
