Obituary of Taft Gardayne Bowers

Taft Dayne Bowers, 26, of Sylva, passed away Saturday morning March 12, 2016. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County he was the son of James Taft Bowers of Whittier and Ada Renell Streater of Sylva. He enjoyed playing sports while in high school and also loved raising pit bulls. He lived life to the fullest and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Floyd and Reva Bowers of Whittier and Harvey Streater of Sylva. In addition to his parents he is survived by his son Conner James Junaluska Maternal Grandmother- Garnell Streater of Sylva Sister- Breunne Bowers of Sylva Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday March 16 at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Lee officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 pm prior to the Service at the Church. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. .
