Obituary of Nikoli Mateo Maldonado

Nikoli Manteo Maldonado, infant son of Jose Maldonado and Britni Mason of Sylva passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Memorial Mission Hospital of Asheville, NC. Nikoli was born November 2, 2015. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Mason, and a sister, Ryleigh, of the home; paternal grandparents, Francisco Maldonado and Carol Crissy Maldonado; maternal grandparents, Charles Mason and Tammy Holder; and a great great grandmother, Francis Scruggs. Nikoli was preceded in death by his twin brother Dante. A memorial will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, March 21 at Appalachian Funeral Services, 165 Skyland Drive, Sylva, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
