Obituary of Wilda Buchanan

Wilda Buchanan, age 81, of Sylva passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at a local hospital. She is the daughter of the late Charlie and Irene "Cloer" Dean. She was married to the late Marvin W. Buchanan. WIlda is survived by one daughter Bonita Buchanan Fox and her husband Eddie of Sylva, NC; two grandchildren Stephanie and Tabatha; four great grandchildren Samantha, Ashley, Brian and Ryan; One great-great grandchild Alex. She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 26, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Service with Rev. Tim James and Rev. Shane Roughton Officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm one hour prior to the service. Internment will follow the service at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Appalachian Funeral Services are in charge of arrangements.
