Obituary of Rena Ammons

Rena Coggins Ammons, 85, of Cashiers, went home to be with Her Lord, Thursday May 5, 2016. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Tommy and Ivy Coggins. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Rev. Bryson Ammons and by her twin sister Dena. She is survived by her son Clifford Ammons of Cashiers 2 Daughters- Lillian Keeton of Tenn. Eileen Ammons of Cullowhee 4 grandchildren also survive Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday May 7 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Shane Silvers officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. at Appalachian Funeral Services. Burial will be in the Church cemetery. . .
