Obituary of Opal Norris Tucker

Opal Norris Tucker, 86, of Wahalla, SC passed away Monday May 9th, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Della Stewart Norris. She was married for 61 years to the late Jennings Tucker, who passed away in 2006. Opal was a member of Pine Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Gibson, and her husband Ligon of Westminster, SC, and Janice McGuffin, and her husband Joey of Wahalla, SC; four grandchildren, Phil, Greta, Hannah and Gracie; and four great grandchildren Cody, Josie, Paul and Kate. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday May 11, 2016 at 2:00pm at Pine Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Norris and Rev. Kenny Owen officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm – 2:00pm; one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Pine Creek Cemetery. Appalachian Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
