Obituary of William Pierce Phillips

William Pierce Phillips, 64, of Sylva passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Alton and Sara (Medford) Phillips. He was a stone mason by trade, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Nick Phillips. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Teri (McCall) Phillips, daughter Mia (Scott) Wolfe of Greer, SC; 2 grandsons Eric and Pierce; one son, Jeremy (Darci) Hill of Balsam; one grandson Ellison. He is also survived by two brothers James Alton Phillips, Jr., Lindon M. Phillips, and one sister Mary Phillips and a very special cousin; Vickie Howard A memorial Service will be planned at a later date. Appalachian Funeral Services has been entrusted with all arrangements.
