My condolences to the Sampson family. It truly breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love. No wonder the Bible calls it an "enemy." (1 Corinthians 15:26) God promises that soon it will be done away with, "swallowed up forever."(Isaiah 25:8) Then hearts will be healed by means of God's promise of resurrection when our precious loved ones, in God's memory, will be restored to life. (John 5:28,29) This is the hope that faithful men of old such as Job entertained.
(Job 14:13-15) May you be comforted by all the promises of God.
