Obituary of Ada Elizabeth Rogers

Ada Elizabeth Rogers, 93, Sylva died Sunday, June 19, 2016. The daughter of the late Charlie and Ellen Rebecca (Moore) Conard, she enjoyed gardening, canning, and her flowers. She was a member of Balsam Baptist Church, and enjoyed reading her Bible and always put her family first. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands William Conner and Ernest Rogers; 5 sons; 1 daughter; 1 stepson; 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by one daughter: Dorothy (Kenneth) Cagle; one son James (Nancy) Conner of Balsam; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 22 at 11:00 am at Appalachian Funeral Services with burial in Old Field Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services and Crematorium, 165 Skyland Drive, Sylva, NC.
