Obituary of Martha Mae Smith
Martha Smith, age 77, of Cullowhee , died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at home in Cullowhee. Martha was born August 5, 1938 in East LaPorte, NC. She is the daughter of the late William A. and the late Teresa (Hooper) Adams.
She was employed as a housekeeper for Harrah's Casino. She enjoyed gardening and tending her flowers.
She is survived by a son, Steven Smith of Vallejo, CA; two daughters, Julie Smith of Charleston, SC and Teresa Davis of Hendersonville, SC, a brother, Ray Adams of Street, Maryland; a sister, Jeanette Bond of Fallstory, Maryland, and two grandchildren, Ross Davis and Steven Davis, of Hendersonville, SC. A private memorial will be held later.
