Obituary of Dicie Marie Norris

Dicie Marie Norris, age 85, of Sylva passed away Friday, July 8, 2016. Mrs. Norris was born March 30, 1931 in Jackson County, NC. She is the daughter of the late Anzel and the late Mary (Melton) Mathis. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Norris. She is survived by one son, Ken Broome of Waynesville, 6 siblings, 2 granddaughters, and 2 great granddaughters. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home at 2pm, Saturday July 16th, 2016 with the Rev. Johhny Norris officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Appalachian Funeral Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
