Obituary of William Bud Bryson

William Bud Bryson, 86, of Cashiers, passed away at home Monday evening July 18, 2016. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, he was the son of the late William and Macie Fox Bryson. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, flea markets and trading guns, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sisters; Ruth Bryson, Betty Hawkins, Della Mae Sneed and Leota Hamilton, his brother JC Bryson , great grandson William Russell and granddaughter Nina Bryson. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Univee Dixon Bryson Daughter- Linda Bryson Few of Cashiers Son- Buddy Bryson of Cashiers 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren And numerous nieces and nephews also survive Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday July 21, which is Mr. Bryson's birthday, at Yellow Mountain Baptist Church with the Revs. Everett Wilson and Felix Villareal officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva. Burial will be in Evitt Cemetery.
