Dear Allison, where do I begin. Frank and our family have such a history together. He was not only a great youth director, pastor, and good friend, but he changed lives. He married our kids, baptized our grandkids, and as founding minister for St. Francis played a huge role in the most important aspect of our lives aside from our family. Because of Frank, Bill became a dedicated, involved Christian and leader at St. Francis who made a difference in the lives of many people. Bill called Frank during difficult times and Frank did the same during Bill's two year battle with cancer. Now to lose Frank to cancer just shy of two short years after Bill is heartbreaking. But I know we were so blessed to play the roles we did in Frank's ministry and will work very hard to try to uphold the faith they lived by in the days to come. Love to all.

To The Family,
I did not know Mr. Frank Laprade Padgett, nor do I know his family, but at times like this I think of one of the many segments that made up God's original plan for mankind, showing love for one another. (Leviticus 19:18) As a volunteer minister I read obituaries columns on a regular basis. My goal is to make an earnest effort to comfort the surviving family members during their grieving period. No words will ever take the pain of losing a loved one in death. But I pray that God will hold each of you in his loving arms and bring you comfort. Please keep in mind: "God is for us a refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." (Psalm 46:1).
Sincerely,
Mr. Terry, a volunteer minister

Frank was the best minister I ever had and am so grateful he was able to marry me and my husband 11 years ago! He will be missed. I am glad he is no longer in pain and is finally at peace. He is probably cutting jokes with God! He will be always remembered and never forgotten!
Love,
Erin DeCarufel Carpenter
