My Dear Aunt Ollie
You were an angel on earth. Your gentleness and sweetness will be missed. You had an inner strength that got you thru the difficult times life passed your way. You were always so loving and very much loved.
Each year mom couldn't wait to get to NC to be able to spend time with you. Now you two are together again in heaven along with the rest of the family.
Let your love and light shine down on the rest of your family here on earth until we meet again.
Give a hug and kiss to my mom.
Love from you niece Teresa

My Sweetest Ma-Ma
I was the daughter that lived the furtherest away but always kept you so close in my heart. You always told me from an early age to make good grades, go to college, and be a good good girl. You allowed me to be independent, fearless, and strong. I hope to follow your wisdom, your grace, and your decency. To be humble.
My fondest memories are you playing ball with us, riding bikes with us, and taking us blackberry picking. How I remember your sweet voice singing your ole gospel songs. You so loved watching Billy Graham sermons. Your faith was unwavering and strong. I so admired that.
But more than anything I will remember how you loved us girls so selflessly, equally, and abundantly. I feel so fortunate to have had you in my life for 62 years. I will continue to see and feel you in the beautiful Azaleas, Hydrangeas, and Dogwoods as they bloom forth every spring. As I will feel your spirit in all the birds chirping so sweetly. We had a wonderful time watching that Bluebird out of window as your life began to wind down. So hopeful and inspiring.
Ma-Ma I love you with every breath in my body and your kind and gentle soul will forever be with me.
Your Youngest Daughter,
Monica Herron

To my special Mother-in-law,
I remember when I first met you. I had just started dating your daughter, Libby. You were very nonjudgmental and kind to me and you remained that way for the 35 years I knew you.
As I look out the window, I see all the trees coming into bloom. I remember how you enjoyed going for walks in the woods and appreciating all of Gods nature.
You were a very kind soul that led by example. Your spirit will be with me and all the lives you touched in your life time.
God bless you Granny Ollie.

To my Little Mama,
I have had a lifetime spent with you but the last 17 months have been so special. I loved visiting with you, fixing your hair pretty, applying your pretty pink lipstick, sharing a corn dog with you, and harressing the nurses. With all seriousness, the nurses that cared for you were wonderful. My heart is broken but I know God will give me the strength to carry on. In the end your wishes were honored and you were at peace. I know God will watch over both of us. I love you so much.

In loving memory of my sweet Grandmother. I have such fond memories of my Grandmother watching me when I was a young girl. I remember playing outside and admiring her stock of delicious canned veggies. She always had a kind heart and a sweet, caring, gentle personality. I'm certain my son (her great grandson) inherited her gentle, easy going personality. One other memory I have of sweet Grandma was her famous drop biscuits. Those were my absolute favorite and she knew it!!! I will always remember her and her loving sweet soul. She never judged, she loved with all her heart. She loved you just the way you were. Her memory will live on forever in our hearts.

Bonnie and I were heart broken to hear of Libby's Mother passing away. Libby was a dedicated loving daughter, making her mothers last few years a special time for both of them. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of grief and loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Ollie's passing. She was a beautiful person and a favorite of my Mom, her half sister Elizabeth Estes Murr. I use to enjoy her visits and stay overs at our home in Canton. She always made the stay fun, even if I had to give up my bed and take to the couch. She worked hard and did a lot of good volunteer work to help others. I am sure my Mom is enjoying having her with her in heaven with the rest of her brothers and sisters who she will be joining.

I have so many fond memories of my aunt Ollie. She had a beautiful smile and gave warm hugs. I will always remember her and my mother together. They were two pees in a pod and would talk and talk. It was such a joy.
What I will remember most was the peach cobbler and cinnamon butter toast she made for us as children. It was heaven on earth and it was full of love. I will miss you dear aunt and will remember you always with love. Hug and kiss mom for me when you meet again.
