Obituary of George Edward Griffith

George E. Griffith, 71, passed away Tuesday morning November 27, 2012. A US Air Force Veteran, he was a native of Oxford Alabama and the son of the late Richard and Caroline Harrell Griffith. He had lived in Jackson County the last five years and enjoyed antique dealing. He is survived by 3 Sisters- Violet Austin of Oxford, Alabama Ellen Brooks of Eastaboga, Alabama Marie Moore of Oxford, Alabama Good Friend- Richard Hatch of Sylva Several nieces and nephews also survive Funeral Services will be held at Miller Funeral Home in Oxford, Alabama and announced as soon as they become available. Appalachian Funeral Services was in charge of local arrangements.
