you were the first we had no experience but we worshiped you you choked on candy as I held you as a baby turning you upside down I shook you and it fell out you were my nephew Scott but you were more like my son I loved you so much the last years we were miles apart but we kept in touch on facebook and at least twice a week you said I love you Uncle Davy I miss you so much but I still see that Angel taking your hand that day as you soared away your joyful laughter tinkling as bells on the wind as it always did the brightness of your smile lighting up the heavens as it lit up our world laugh on Scotty laugh on

"You go through what remains and there isn't a lot that is meaningful, except your memories...Ultimately what remains is a story. In the end, it's the only thing any of us really owns." If anyone could tell a story it was you. I know you thought it got on my nerves hearing the same stories over and over, but it never did. Those are some of the best memories I have. You taught me more about faith, love, and life than I would have ever learned on my own or read in a book. I am forever a better person because of you, and your story I will keep with me forever. 1,2,3 always...

I haven't got to see Scotty in many years. But growing up he was a very nice boy to have around as a neighbor. We loved Scotty just like a son and his mama and daddy and Cindy. For years we would play Cards and they would always be at the house. We love you Warner & Ellen. He is in much better place, but the heartaches are still there Love to all of you.

I had the pleasure of having Scottie as a nephew. What a great person. I remember Scottie as a little blonde headed boy running around getting into trouble. He always had "that" mischievous smile on his face. Generally because he had, was, or gonna do something mischevievous. Scottie was also known for his rock throwing abilities. My dad was always dodging or ducking rocks whizzed in his direction by Scottie. Yep, he was wearing "that smile". Scottie is with him now and they both are smiling. I love and miss you greatly. I'll see you in heaven.

Scottie and I were second cousins. Even though I didn't know Scottie real well I will always remember his smile. At my cousins graduation he came and he made everyone laugh. I know his mom, dad, and his three boys better but I'll always love Scottie and I'll never forget his smile. I love you guys and if you need anything I'm here. You will always be in my prayers! Love you all<3

Scott and I went to school together. He could make me laugh so hard that tears would come out of my eyes. I only seen him a few times after school graduation but every time I did we would end up laughing and we would both walk away with a smile.

Scotty,
As I reflect upon the many fond memories, of our childhood, I have always known that; though we were cousins, you have always been a Brother to me. Just like that Sunday, at Atlanta, when we watched that black #3 take the checkered flag... I will never forget you. Give my love to Granny & Paw. God Bless. Cody
