Obituary of Charles E. Cagle

Charles E. (Chig ) Cagle Sr. age 78, of Sylva died Monday, July 18, 2011 at Med West Harris of Sylva, NC. Mr. Cagle was born May 25, 1933 in Sylva, NC. He is the son of the late Holmes B and the late Bonnie (Buchanan) Cagle. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by a son, Charles E. Cagle Jr. and a brother. William ( Baldy) Cagle. A graduate of Sylva High School and Veteran of the U.S. Army, he was owner of Cagle and Son Ford Car Dealer in Sylva for many years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Peggy Middleton Cagle 3 Daughters- Kim C. Gallardo and her husband J.P. OF Sylva Cheri C. Espinosa and her husband Jaime of Atlanta, GA Teri C. Jenkinson and her husband Carl of Sylva 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild also survive The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 PM Wednesday at Appalachian Funeral Home . A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Lovedale Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be all members of the SIR Club, Jim Hartbarger, Jack Hennessee, Dr. Cliff Faull, Dan Allison Sr., Doug Cody, Tom Schutte, C.B. Hart, Ronnie Dennis. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles McConnell, Joe Price and Pete Mills. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lovedale Baptist Church, Sylva, NC.
